As a Leader, you are respected for your deep technical expertise and/or ability to oversee programs and processes. You balance the needs of multiple stakeholders, making sound decisions using data, analysis, experience, and judgment, along with a risk mindset. Ultimately, you take ownership for key outcomes.
The Training Manager position will be responsible for both developing and delivering sales training to an expanding financial services sales team. The individual has the opportunity to optimize an existing Learning Management System (LMS) and develop effective ways to train the field financial advisor force. The ideal candidate will have superb communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities:
• Designing and developing web based content that is both engaging and informative
• Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in other departments to create professional development training materials
• Interaction with field financial advisors and field management to uncover needs and gaps
• Enhancement of Learning Management System
• Opportunity as lead trainer in classroom setting.
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
• 3 plus years of Financial Services experience and sales experience preferred
• FINRA Series 6 & 63 (Series 7 & 65 or 66 strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with learning technologies including: learning management systems, web delivery tools.
• Knowledge of adult learning theories and training strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Familiarity with tracking, testing, and reporting applications such as Survey Monkey, and Brainshark
