Position Description:
The administrative assistant, in coordination with and under the guidance and direction of the firm’s senior Executive Assistants (to the CEO and to the CFO & General Counsel), will be primarily responsible for providing administrative support to the heads of the firm’s investment Banking, Capital Markets, Advisory and Fixed Income Sales businesses. Duties will principally involve providing telephone coverage, travel planning, expense management and miscellaneous tasks assigned by the Executive Assistants and for selected departmental team members. At times, the position will involve providing backup coverage for the Executive Assistants.
Qualifications:
• 1-2 (or more) years of previous experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Service oriented, polite and professional manner in interacting with colleagues and clients, whether in-person, telephonic or via electronic mail
• Ability to use or learn to use Oracle-based H.R. and expense system
• High School Diploma (or equivalent); Undergraduate study or degree a plus
