We are excited to share that Principal is currently seeking a Client Implementation Manager to join our team in one of the following locations:
• Cedar Falls, IA
• Des Moines, IA
• Mason City, IA
This exciting opportunity will focus on leveraging your strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills in a new way to make an impact with our clients.
Responsibilities:
The Client Implementation Manager will coordinate the transition management process with a multi-disciplined transition team. This includes proactively advising clients and prospects as they navigate through the acquisition/implementation of their retirement plan. The Client Implementation Manager establishes and enhances client/intermediary relationships through effective communication and delivery of expectations.
Additional responsibilities may include:
• Utilize the project management methodology, serve as the main point of contact for client interaction through the transition process, executing to successful completion. Communicate effectively with clients, as well as internal and external business partners, providing timely status reports through conference calls or timeline/project plan updates and maintaining overall responsibility for the transition. May participate in implementation meetings to proactively address transition strategies and promote better understanding and accurate expectations. Follow internal procedures to properly document work.
• Develop relationships and partner with all areas of RIS to orchestrate a successful transition. Utilize problem-solving techniques and networking skills to resolve issues in a timely manner. Demonstrate integrity and professionalism in all interactions, both internally and externally.
• Analyze less complex set-up information and demonstrate knowledge in all aspects of the transition process. Develop a working knowledge of our recordkeeping and accounting system, plans, contracts, and pension documents. Be familiar with our investment options, results and philosophy, and discuss with clients.
Qualifications:
Skills required:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of 8 years
• 1+ year related experience.
Successful candidates will have the following:
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and negotiation skills, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Analytical, innovative, and creative thinking along with problem solving skills.
• Excellent relationship building and communication skills, including verbal, written, phone, and presentation skills.
• Strong initiative and organization skills to work efficiently to meet deadlines on multiple transitions.
• Must be detail oriented with focus on accuracy.
