Job Description
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring adherence to Bank ACH risk policy related to ACH renewals. In addition, this position must be familiar with related policies, procedures and regulatory requirements and is a contact for ACH exposure related information and queries. This position also has responsibility for ACH renewal support.
Principal Responsibilities:
Generates renewals for ACH customers.
Monitors and ensures risk exposure limits are properly implemented, maintained and renewed in adherence to ACH policies and NACHA risk regulations.
Works closely with Bank Officers, Operations and Implementations teams to resolve issues surrounding ACH files/clients which exceed the established ACH risk exposure limits.
Develops and maintains productive working relationships both internal and external customers. Provides customer service support to internal and external customers
Remains informed of all new or modifications to ACH rules and regulations.
Provides backup support for ACH Risk Desk functions including EDI Reporting, ACH Debit Block/Positive Pay Service, prefunding, monitoring of suspended batches, seeking appropriate approvals, processing ECM requests and processing rejected fee report for closed accounts.
Participates in special assignments, projects and other ACH related services as needed to support management.
Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.
Job Requirements
Education/Experience Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalency required.
1-3 years relevant experience.
Behavioral/Technical Skills:
Good understanding of Online Security Risk, Internet, and payment industry
Interpersonal and communication skills with a positive working attitude.
Analytical and problem solving skills with strong business acumen.
Good team player who is able to work well with product, operational teams, technical teams and external vendors.
Detail oriented and ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Understanding of ACH Rules and Regulations and FFIEC Guidance for both ACH.
Understanding of the internal Commercial ACH policies.
Ability to effectively communicate with other business partners: Treasury Management, Relationship Managers, IT, Operations and Product Management.
PC skills including Microsoft Office, internet and other systems used within the department.
