We are seeking a Director, Marketing Measurement and Insights to lead a new function within the Business Insights organization. This role will partner closely with the Marketing leadership team to help scale recently transformed marketing processes and adapt measurement approaches and insights to newly implemented AI based targeting and execution capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and build this new focus area leading a team of analysts to develop measurement processes and solutions to optimize cross channel marketing and integrated marketing and sales programs. The primary objective of this role and team will be to infuse test and learn expertise and rigor into the Marketing organization and help staff move beyond basic observations by developing deep insights and specific actions to drive marketing results.
The ideal candidate will have an analytic mind, consultative business skills and executive presence to work with the Marketing team to analyze, package and convey actionable insights to influence marketing program design and strategies. This role will also require expertise with measurement methodologies across traditional and digital marketing channels and familiarity with visualization tools, data and analytic techniques to instrument and measure marketing execution.
The Expertise You Have
• Successful applicants are likely to have 5-10 years of experience in marketing analytics and measurement (particularly digital).
• Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in traditional and digital media measurement techniques
• Outstanding consultative, critical thinking, analytical and communication skills with ability to operate strategically and build effective stakeholder partnerships
• Proficiency with designing experiments, results attribution and champion/challenger testing for optimizing marketing and determining ROI
• Proven ability to generate meaningful insights through data analytics and present complex data/findings in a simple, clear and actionable manner to an executive audience
• Experience serving as a change agent and influencer helping marketing leaders adopt new approaches to insights and the usage of marketing data
The Skills You Bring
• Knowledge and expertise to partner with Marketing stakeholders to optimize strategies and uncover new opportunities to improve the value that Marketing delivers to the business
• Strong command of digital analytical techniques, methodologies and tools to help your team build and administer analytics dashboards and point out key insights in the data
• Operates with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment with great attention to detail and ability to multitask and adapt quickly.
• Familiarity/ experience working with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau and Alteryx
• Familiarity/ experience with programming / database querying tools (SQL, R or Python)
• Strong statistics background, including the ability to explain statistical concepts to others
• Working-knowledge of agile processes

Delivering Actionable Insights and Championing Test and Learn Best practices
• You create and deliver executive level presentations to bring out marketing effectiveness insights clearly and concisely and foster a test, measure, learn culture
• You work closely with campaign leaders to help identify and apply learnings and develop new experimental designs for campaign execution.
• You enable the organization to make objective, informed decisions on how to best use marketing channels and programs to drive business results
• You champion change and adoption of new test and learn new approaches and solutions challenging conventional thinking
Enabling new measurement capabilities
• You lead measurement projects that instrument marketing performance across all marketing channels: web, email, direct, events, advertising and mobile
• You help your team collaborate with various internal technical partners to efficiently aggregate disparate data sources (on prem Data Warehouse, AWS cloud, Salesforce CRM, Workfront, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Campaign, Google Analytics, Social Media Platforms) for analysis and reporting.
• You use leading edge digital analytics, business intelligence and data visualization tools
• You partner with our Data Science team to develop best in class incremental lift methodologies that can be scaled across measurement platforms.
