Responsibilities:
Exciting new opportunity with Principal! Join our already established marketing team using your direct to consumer marketing experience to help drive forward our retail business.
A Digital Retail Marketing Strategist must have a wide knowledge of digital and other content delivery platforms. They are creative yet methodical in their approach to take a strategy to execution. They understand people and how they interact with digital media. They know what’s next in the digital marketing world before anyone else does.
Specifically, this position will be a part of our direct-to-consumer marketing team. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to leverage Principal’s Enterprise expertise.
Additional responsibilities may include:
• Develop innovative engagement strategies to drive positive customer emotion and demand for our products/offerings.
• Cultivate a deep understanding and application of target market research, marketing and competitive trends, market dynamics and regulations.
• Track, analyze and communicate results. Use results analysis to improve future outcomes.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Skills required:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 8 years’ experience.
• 5+ years of marketing related experience (with at least 1 year working with marketing automation)
Successful candidates will have the following:
• Must have an intermediate level of knowledge of the marketing profession and modern marketing strategies.
• Experience in integrated marketing approaches across the marketing mix, including touch points such as digital, experiential, advertising.
• Ability to translate data analytics into actionable stories.
• Strong relationship building skills with the ability to bring stakeholders together to deliver a consistent message.
Preferred experience:
• Experience working with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Marketing Cloud, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
• Experience working in a digital retail space
• Experience working with product launches
