Asset Management Distribution: Credit Suisse Asset Management (“CSAM”) is a leading global investment manager serving a diverse universe of institutional and private investors worldwide, constituting a core component of our integrated bank model. In the United States, our clients have access to one of the largest platforms of alternative investments across a wide range of styles and strategies. With ~$403B in global AUM, the asset management division manages portfolios, funds, and other investment vehicles, drawing on the expertise of portfolio professionals based in 21 developed and emerging market centers around the world, as well as joint ventures established with best-in-class partners.
Americas Institutional Distribution group at Credit Suisse Asset Management is currently a team of six client facing professionals who focus on business development with the largest institutional investors in the US and Canada. In combination, institutional distribution also works on Channel Management initiatives leveraging Investment Banking and Private Banking relationships. We also partner with select third party alternative managers in a distribution capacity. Given significant growth of the asset management business in the US and Canada, CSAM has determined that it needs to expand the team.
The Global Consultant Relations team at Credit Suisse Asset Management is currently a team of five client facing professionals who focus on business development with the largest institutional consultants globally. Each team member executes on a regional business plan with purpose of achieving consultant advocacy for Credit Suisse Asset Management products.
• The Institutional and Consultant Relations team in asset management distribution is looking for a VP or Director level candidate who would be responsible for fostering strong relationships and raising assets from large institutional investors on the South East
• This is an opportunity to raise capital on behalf of CS partners as well as select joint venture partners in alternatives
• You will be able to provide an opportunity for rapid career development and participation in the next phase of CSAM’s institutional growth
• Engage internally (within CSAM) with Senior Management, Portfolio Management, Product Specialists, Consultant team, RFP team and Marketing
• This position will be based in New York
You Offer
• You have eight to ten years of experience in capital raising capacity for institutional asset management with definitive expertise in alternatives
• Previous experience working with hedge funds and other alternative products
• Strong understanding of institutional investment process
• Must be highly motivated with demonstrable success at raising assets
• Well organized and disciplined, entrepreneurial and performance-oriented
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Operate with a highest level of professionalism, integrity and accountability all
• within the context of team approach
• Series 7 & 63 licenses required for position – Series 3 a plus
• Preference CFA, CAIA, CIMA
• Bachelor in Business Administration, Economics or similar; Master a plus
