Claims Administrative Support Specialist

As a Claims Support Specialist, you'll have an important role in ensuring claims are resolved efficiently for our customers. You'll provide administrative support within claims which can include transcribing dictations, maintaining office equipment and answering customer inquiries via email or phone.
Day-to-day responsibilities
• Handle incoming and outgoing calls to internal partners and external contacts such as customers, vendors, medical providers, attorneys, law enforcement agencies, etc.
• Maintain and prepare files which includes forwarding files and photos to claims team members (claims reps, attorneys, subrogation, salvage, etc.), archiving old files, updating filing system and managing file inventory
• Run basic reporting and initiating payment processing
• Prepare settlement drafts and correspondence
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• Three years of claims or related administrative experience

• Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, Claims Station)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team
