Senior Financial Analyst - Technical Operations
You will take ownership of:
• Establishing business partnering relationships with key business contacts
• Establishing and execute financial controls and accounting procedures
• Establishing and delivering insightful management reporting packages working closely with clients to define operational, financial and management information needs
• Encouraging ownership of the financials through education and regular financial review meetings with clients
• Actively participate in monthly accounting close; ensure compliance with applicable internal and external accounting standards and financial practices
• Assisting with the development of operating budgets and financial projections consistent with corporate objectives/deliverables
• Partnering with various levels of management on the business planning process including validating models and rationalizing incremental resources (headcount, expense, capital) for calendar year initiatives
• Performing due diligence, create business cases, and provide decision support to management for strategic initiatives, business expansion, potential acquisitions and joint ventures
• Preparing periodic business and financial presentations with Executive Management discussing performance against plan
• Designing and implementing systems, tools and reporting used in developing financial strategies
• Continually streamline processes and proactively develop ways to enhance financial support to the client
We expect you to have:
• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 7 years of experience role supporting IT Infrastructure and/or Customer Service organizations.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications is a must – Excel, Powerpoint, Word
• Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse, Hyperion, Microsoft SharePoint, is useful
• Must have experience partnering with business unit leaders
• Strong quantitative, financial and analytical skills
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Proactive self-starter
We’d love to see:
• IT and Telecommunications industry experience
• Familiarity with the Bloomberg terminal useful
