Unix/Linux Systems Administrator, Information Security, Analyst
Job Summary
This is a challenging position for a Unix/Linux Systems Administrator within the Information Security space.
Responsibilities
The position will be responsible for managing thousands of UNIX servers across the Firm with focus on centralized administration, standardized operating procedures and automation/scripting.
Qualifications
• 5 years of system administrator experience in multi platform *NIX environments
• Experience with networking, scripting and systems integration.
• Experience with user provisioning and access.
• Knowledge of current and emerging technologies.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environments.
• PAM (Privilege Access Management) experience with tools like CyberArk, Control-minder, Thycotic (Secret-Server), TPAM or Exceedium
• Event log correlation tool experience (e.g. Splunk)
• Working knowledge of Puppet architecture and scripting
• Basic technical skills with Windows
• Understanding of Role Based Access Control System
• Experience with AWS and cloud based service models
• Financial services experience preferred
• Passionate and driven
• Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Demonstrates the ability to convey technical findings in simple language
• Proactive mindset and actions
• Aptitude to lead complex efforts with minimal supervision
• Collaborate across the organization
• Ability to multitask, handle competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, or Related Fields.
