The Opportunity
Broker Asset Manager
Job Summary
Partners with broker sales channel to develop distribution strategies of broker sales growth within our existing book of business; maintains communication with both sales organizations and partners with BSP’s and others to support sales objectives
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborates with sales leadership to develop enrollment strategies, monitoring upcoming reenrollments and ensuring enrollments are occurring; looks for upsell opportunities to deepen Aflac’s grasp on the Broker BoB
Provides support to ensure autonomy of BoB business decisions, direction and assist with evaluating current asset base to determine opportunities for growth; Influences existing account premium and broker production, while facilitating cross-channel communication in an effort to increase sales
Assist with maintaining business plans within the assigned region, and driving the pipeline and revenue goals for existing accounts, to meet and exceed Strategic Asset Managements’ goals
Understands broker landscape, case set-up, small to mid-size case management, underwriting and other internal resources to develop overall broker strategy to deepen penetration with the brokers BoB
Participates in projects that drive Strategic Asset Management goals and monitors project plans and execution progress to resolve any variances; provides accurate communication to markets within the region and assists in accountability strategies for neighboring markets
Responsible for contributing to sales goals through strong relationships with internal partners, working collaboratively to develop improved product and service solutions within existing accounts
Maintains strong knowledge over products/services and clients’ issues and needs; uses professional skills and concepts to solve a variety of client challenges
Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree and five to six years of job-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Understanding of Aflac/Aflac Group’s products and services, affiliated systems and applicable operational policies and procedures
Job Knowledge & Skills
Proficient in broker and industry practices as it pertains to product, enrollment techniques and service needs of the client
Experience in a service related area such as client services, sales support, coordinating activities associated with the processing of group enrollments (preferred)
Excellent negotiation, presentation, public speaking, written & verbal communication skills
