Detailed Description
The Business Systems Analyst works with business partners to understand the specific business needs, and is a subject matter expert on the applications that support the business processes. Assists with project definition, authoring of business cases, and IT scope preparation and presentation. Performs detailed business analysis, documenting functional and non-functional requirements for new projects, and processes. Works with IT project teams and business partners to drive successful project implementation from scope through the coordination of user acceptance testing.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• Min 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst role.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to produce the following artifacts with minimal supervision:
1. Scope Documents
2. Solution Requirements Documents
3. Business process flows using cross functional flow diagrams, and process diagrams
4. Use Cases, Data Models and User Stories
5. Functional design/Functional specifications
6. Meeting agendas and meeting minutes
• Able to take the lead role on projects, and manage the requirements gathering and review process across multiple IT and business teams.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated history of performing in fast-paced environment. Able to deliver high quality work and meet deadlines.
• Able to work with peers as a part of a team on larger projects or work independently on smaller projects.
• Good time management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects successfully.
• Experience facilitating group sessions to gather requirements.
• Driven and self-motivated.
• Agile experience preferred.
