As part of HR Talent Management, the Talent Processes and Insights team is responsible for the talent processes and insights to build associate, leader, and firm capabilities. We work as strategic partners with our HR Generalists and division leaders to impact the success of our firm's 5-Year Plan and achieving our 2020 Vision.
In this newly created role, Senior Talent Strategy Consultant, you'll have the opportunity to 1) shape the strategic workforce planning methodology and diagnostic process for the firm and 2) help leaders understand the talent implications of their business strategy and determine what is required to attract, develop, and retain the talent needed in the future to achieve desired business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the design and execution of the firm's strategic workforce planning methodology and diagnostic process, enabling leaders to translate business strategy into talent needs and establish workforce plans with talent management solutions to meet those future needs.
• Design and deliver on all aspects of strategic workforce planning including business strategy analysis, talent/role segmentation, supply and demand analysis, scenario planning, gap analysis, and action planning.
• Determine and compile the measures, metrics and predictive analytics to identify the business pain points. Develop and clearly communicate meaningful and compelling insights that drive the business to action.
• Work closely with HR colleagues and senior business leaders to educate, consult and build capabilities in applying strategic workforce planning methodology and creating holistic, integrated talent management solutions.
• Ensure alignment and integration with Talent Management efforts and talent-related processes including: competency models, job analysis, assessments & selection, talent review, performance management, engagement surveys, organization design and change management.
Position Requirements
• Master's degree in industrial-organizational psychology preferred.
• 5 years experience designing and implementing large-scale talent initiatives and enterprise talent processes
• 2 years experience partnering with senior leaders to understand business needs and develop talent solutions
• 2 years experience consulting with and designing and facilitating leadership team discussions
• Ability to develop talent insights: consult on meaningful questions to answer, identify and analyze relevant data, and develop key messages and engaging visuals to drive action
• Strong skills in strategic thinking, project planning and execution, collaboration, influence, and adaptability
• Knowledge of science and practice around talent strategy and strategic workforce planning
• Strong understanding of talent measurement and analytics; experience analyzing data with Excel or SPSS
