As a Senior Human Resources Generalist based in our Los Angeles office, you will be a key member of the Human Resources (HR) team supporting Capital Group’s Global Investment Operations group. You will partner with the HR team and business leaders to effectively manage the ‘people component’ of Capital Group’s business strategy, particularly focusing on the attraction, development, and retention of our associates.
Responsibilities:
•Acts as a member of the Investment Operations (IO) HR team to support the 850+ Investment Operations associates and leaders
•Diagnosing and resolving associate relations matters
•Analyzes and conducts fact-finding and investigations, recommends the appropriate action and leads issue resolution.
•Acts as a liaison with the management teams and in collaboration with other internal specialist groups (e.g. benefits, legal, etc.)
•Supporting the efforts related to our performance management cycles including participation in calibration meetings and preparation of compensation recommendations
•Facilitates HR programs such as training and team effectiveness sessions, and HR or site specific meetings and events
•Serves as a subject matter expert on Human Resources policies, processes and tools; partners with specialist teams as needed
•Preparing regular and ad hoc reports on various HR metrics, creating data visualizations for a diverse audience and identifying actionable insights through data analysis
•Serves as point of contact for recruiting and supporting the successful on-boarding of new associates, as applicable
•Other special projects aimed at advancing the talent goals of the business
Qualifications:
•4+ years of progressive HR experience
•Demonstrated knowledge of and expertise in Human Resources processes and policies, external best practices and legal compliance
•Experience identifying and addressing complex performance management and other employee relations issues
•Effective written and verbal communication skills with diverse group of associates and senior business leaders
•Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and strong attention to detail
•SuccessFactors and/or SAP experience is a plus
•Bachelor’s degree required
