Overview of the Role
You will manage marketing campaigns to ensure brand consistency including advertising and other product-specific, channel-specific and corporate marketing activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will:
• Works with marketing and sales staff to develop and implement marketing communications plans in support of their product and channel objectives. Campaign initiatives project a uniform brand image for the company.
• Develops and implements integrated advertising programs for the company's products and services that involve print, digital display, native advertising, paid search, e-mail and other third party promotions. Activities include: day-to-day management of creative and media agencies to develop creative and media plans; reviewing and approving creative materials with internal clients and compliance; coordinating effectiveness metrics, and presenting metrics to relevant marketing colleagues.
• Helps manage global brand identity. Activities include: coordinating marketing strategies including expense budgets, advertising and promotion of the brand; recommending solutions and best practices; ensuring brand consistency across advertising; and developing and implementing associated advertising campaigns for the brand.
• Manages advertising budget and expenses.
• Acts as a resource for less experienced staff members and may direct the work of other staff members, but does not have direct reports.

Technical Skills and Qualifications
• Can do, whatever it takes attitude.
• Client-focused with the ability to develop productive relationships throughout the firm; solid interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Solid knowledge of business-to-business (B2B) marketing and the ability to ensure that every communication supports and reflects the Janus Henderson brand message
• Establish accurate project objectives and timelines to ensure project deadlines are met and provide measurable data that documents the impact of marketing communications efforts
• Solid organizational and project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and independently with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of financial markets and mutual funds preferred.
• Ability to generate new ideas and implement innovative communication approaches based on an understanding of which marketing communications efforts are most effective.
• Strong verbal communication and writing skills and the ability to interact effectively with management and across internal departments.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft suite of products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• 5 years of experience in marketing and communications (business-to-business preferred)
• In-depth project management experience required.
• Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
• Experience working for or with creative agencies
• Financial industry experience preferred, but not required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• On occasion, may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week on short notice. Could include evening and weekend hours.
• Typical office environment with equipment such as PC, telephone, copier, fax machine, etc.
• Ability to travel on occasion.
For those in scope of Knowledge & Competence (MiFID II)
• Knowledge of financial markets, financial markets function and the impact of economic figures and national/regional/global events on markets
• Understanding of issues relating to market abuse and anti-money laundering
Ongoing competence in the role to be assessed by:
• Annual Performance Appraisal
• Completion of all assigned Compliance training
• Annual Attestation (Knowledge and Competence in-scope roles only)
Compliance Requirements
At a minimum the role will require you to:
• Place the interest of Janus Henderson’s Clients first and always act in accordance with TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) principles
• Understand and follow laws and regulations applicable for your role, seeking the help of your supervising manager or Compliance if you would like further explanation or direction regarding this
