Investment Banking Staffing & Business Development Manager

The business development & staffing manager will work alongside the global heads of healthcare investment banking to support their strategic objectives by driving the execution of a wide range of business needs including managing the junior banker experience. The manager will engage in planning, execution, and analysis on a number of projects ensuring high-quality recommendations and deliverables. The manager will work collaboratively with professionals throughout healthcare investment banking, the investment banking administrative team, the human capital team, and other partners throughout the firm.
Responsibilities will include:
• Managing the staffing on deals and projects for all healthcare investment banking analysts & associates
• Develops relationships with junior and senior bankers throughout healthcare investment banking and serves as a liaison between junior and senior bankers
• Soliciting feedback from junior and senior bankers on current staffing needs and workloads and reporting findings and recommendations to the heads of healthcare investment banking
• Partnering with the recruiting team to identify hiring and staffing needs
• Managing business development and marketing needs as requested by the heads of healthcare investment banking and senior bankers
• Revenue and pipeline management
• Analyzes data and business needs to make recommendations for improvement
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
• Strong knowledge of investment banking and the deal process
• Experience as an investment banking analyst or associate or 5+ years of public accounting experience preferred
• Strong project management skills
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to develop and navigate relationships with important business partners
• Potential to influence outcomes without formal authority
• Ability to take ownership of issues
