Job Summary:
The overall purpose of this position is to prepare responses to RFPs, RFIs, and questionnaires. The role works to represent Invesco’s investment capabilities and value proposition to current/future clients and prospects while also maximizing Invesco’s reach to prospects within consultant databases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Completes and/or coordinates RFP, RFI, and due diligence questionnaire responses
• Works closely with subject matter experts in portfolio management to assemble response data, create new/custom answers and maintain standard language in content management system (PMAPS)
• Completes customized RFPs and due diligence questionnaires that require some additional research, analysis, creativity and judgment
• Organizes statistical data by utilizing various analytical databases in order to source information for questionnaire specifications
• Develops and maintains an understanding of portfolios’ investment process, construction, and risk management
Qualifications
Work Experience / Knowledge:
• 5-10 years directly related work experience in investment management industry.
• Knowledge of fixed income, alternatives, and equity investment and/or investment vehicles preferred but not required
• 5-7 years directly related work experience preferred in RFP production.
• Knowledge of institutional RFPs preferred.
Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Resourceful in gathering key information
• Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as to handle multiple concurrent assignments, work independently, and assume personal responsibility for deliverables
• Ability to effectively manage new projects, existing maintenance, shifting priorities, and multiple tasks
• Self-directed and well organized; must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Advanced computer skills including MS Word, Excel (pivot tables), and PowerPoint
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to handle statistical information
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to adhere to deadlines while managing multiple projects
• Must also have the ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail
• Experience in RFP/RFI production preferred
Formal Education:
(minimum requirement to perform job duties)
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent years of direct experience required.
Working Conditions:
• Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures.
• The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move objects of up to 10 pounds is also necessary.
• Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project or assignment.
• Hours may include evenings and/or weekends and may include 24 hour a day on call support by cell phone.
