Job Summary
Crowe is looking to add a team for reviewing Individual Income Tax who will apply principles of taxation to review income tax returns along with supporting work papers for clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing, retail, construction, distribution, and diversified financials. This position will be from February 11th through April 15th.
Responsibilities may also include
• Review of data and documents received from clients
• Preparing other correspondence
• Maintain due dates for various tasks
• Assist in other tax compliance matters
• Review of processed returns for basic quality assurance
• Gather, organize and analyze data
• Communicate with team members regarding information requests
• Collaborate with team members on tasks
• Quickly adapt and learn new tax preparation software
• Identify, document, and communicate unusual transactions with the tax team
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• High School diploma
• Tax Internship experience preferred
• Completed University Courses
◦ Computer in business (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel), required
◦ Intro to Financial Accounting, desired
◦ Intro to Managerial Accounting, desired
◦ Intermediate Accounting, desired
◦ Individual and Corporate Taxation, desired
• Basic understanding of accounting and taxation (preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel).
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to learn and accept feedback.
• Ability to complete projects timely and accurately.
• Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Ability to maintain objectivity and integrity.
