Zurich is currently looking for a Claims Administrative Manager.
In this position, you will coordinate and direct the efficient management of administrative services and claims administrative team members in our Overland Park office. You will supervise a decentralized team of approximately 11 to 13 non-exempt employees that include onsite and remote team members. This includes interviewing and selecting new hires, conducting performance appraisals, making salary decisions, and training and development. Additionally, the position requires that you drive compliance with Operations Best Practices and/or other complex administrative procedures across areas of responsibility, insuring compliance with internal business controls.
In this role, you will be delivering service to internal clients, usually at the line manager or employee level. You are also expected to provide subject matter expertise to others in the organization in support of efforts to deliver on our promise.
This position will be located in our Overland Park.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Leadership, Management, Supervisor or Training area
OR
• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Claims, Legal or Administrative area
OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an Associate Degree with 5 or more years of experience in the Leadership, Management, Supervisor OR Training area
OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an Associate Degree with 5 or more years of experience in the Claims, Legal or Administrative area OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Leadership, Management, Supervisor, Training area
OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Claims, Legal or Administrative area
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of claims administrative operations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organization skills
• Strong analytical skills
• People management experience
• Ability to establish and maintain key business relationships
• Ability to interact with multiple levels of management
• Strong computer skills
