National Insurance Healthcare Underwriting:
National Insurance Healthcare Practice is a new specialized division within Liberty Mutual, which operates as a startup within the organization, and focuses on mid-sized and large healthcare providers. Such customers include rehab facilities, fertility clinics, Ebola response centers, blood banks, and memory centers among numerous other complex healthcare providers. The group is looking to add some analytically savvy, customer focused MBA leaders to their rapidly growing team. MBA graduates will build expertise in healthcare underwriting and decision making through on the job training and mentoring from senior leaders. As part of this specialized unit, you will write Workers Compensation, Auto, General Liability, and mid-sized property for all program structures. You will collaborate closely with partners in Loss Control and Claims to expand your knowledge, achieve goals, and profitably grow the vertical.
You leverage your MBA and prior professional experiences, and we provide you with the tools, training, and support to make an immediate impact.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Competitive candidates will have the following:
• MBA degree conferred by June 2019 or a recent MBA graduate
• A competitive GPA
• A minimum of three to five years post-bachelor clinical experience i.e. nurse (Insurance experience is not required)
• Strong analytical skillset; desire to solve complex problems and make decisions in a fast paced, rapidly growing environment
• Customer centric mindset and presence; able to develop and maintain effective market facing relationships to fully promote and represent the LMI brand
• Currently hold permanent US work authorization
• Position located in Boston, MA or Chicago, IL
