Baker Tilly is currently hiring a Financial Analyst to join the team in Madison, WI! This is a great opportunity for someone with financial modeling, accounting, and underwriting experience to work within our established New Markets Tax Credit practice to serve clients located throughout the U.S.

Responsibilities
• In this role, you will work closely with Partners and Managers servicing existing clients to deliver financial advisory services such as:
• Execute financial modeling for transactions
• Assist with preparation of write-ups and underwriting of transactions for board meetings
• Partner with potential borrowers to determine the structure of proposed transactions and negotiate a term sheet with borrowers and investors on behalf of the client
• Assist with application writing, data analysis, pipeline building, and obtaining capital commitments
• Help clients to locate and vet transactions as needed
• Support team with general consulting to assist clients in achieving objectives
• Educate potential lenders and community stakeholders to participate in transactions
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance
• 0-1 years of experience with financial modeling and/or underwriting bank debt
• Demonstrated analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel)
• Ability to provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding applicable strategies, see the "big picture" as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of duties
