The Impact / People Coordinator is responsible on a local or regional level for the following areas: coordinating recruiting, supporting career building, and learning and development.
The below functions reflect the general details necessary to describe the essential work activities and accountabilities of this position and are not all inclusive. Other activities may be assigned.
• Recruiting Support: Coordinate campus recruiting efforts between the office or region and Human Resources (HR) with a direct link into various recruiters and HR Advisor (including campus recruiting and related activities). Build relationships with targeted colleges and universities. Coordinate interviews and office visits. Coordinates all new hire on-boarding.
• Career Building: Support Coaching Champion efforts to advance coaching in the office or region. Coaching process resource for team regarding process flow, mechanics, and resources.
• Learning & Development: Coordinate logistics including, but not limited to: support in-person sessions, webcasts and virtual learning conferences, monitor registration, set-up room, order meals, provide materials, ensure technology setup, facilitate re-broadcast requests, arrange instructor set up and support office staff who are participating in local Learning and Development (L&D) opportunities. Advocate for the Learning and Compliance teams at the local office level. Has an understanding of the continuing education requirements of the profession and assists in resolving CPE deficiencies in a timely manner. Is familiar with the CLA U offerings and promotes learning communications locally. Has a direct link with the L&D team to provide feedback and input on local office learning needs.
• IT Site Contact: Assist IT staff with imaging PCs, preparing computer equipment for new hires, ongoing equipment orders for the office, and scheduling repairs as needed.
• CLA Culture: Coordinates all on-site/off-site employee relations events. Proactively recommends retention strategies to office leadership and applicable career coaches.
• Office Concierge: Coordinate any office location issues for team members, including set-ups and IT issues thereafter. Oversee facilitates/conference room management/scheduling by Internal Operations Coordinator(s). Office safety coordinator.
• Internal Operations Team: May have accountabilities across other internal operations roles or across multiple offices within a region.
Experience, Education, and Certification Requirements
• Experience: Minimum of three-five years of related administrative experience. In addition, a minimum of two years campus recruiting experience.
• Education: High school degree or equivalent. Associate or Bachelor’s in Business Administration or HR, a plus.
• Certifications/Licenses: None required.
