You will be providing guidance and assistance with the development of Sentry’s Human Resources data and analytics strategy and platforms, including tool evaluation for data and analytics products in support of the business strategy.
As the HR Data Analytics Specialist, you’ll leverage your knowledge of HR strategies to design and develop data reporting solutions that support Sentry’s talent strategies in the areas of: talent acquisition, organizational development, learning, workforce management, compensation, and benefits. You will collaborate with the HR leadership and HR Business Consultants to understand what information is needed and how it will be used to design and deliver the appropriate solutions.
What You'll Do
As the HR Data Analytics Specialist, you will use your knowledge of data structures and warehousing systems to analyze results, design solutions, and maintain Sentry’s HR Data strategy and solution. In addition, you’ll:
• Serve as the technical lead for the selection and implementation of HR technology solutions impacting data and analysis
• Work with team members and build solutions that accommodate the self – service generation of operational and analytical reporting and visualizations
• Participate in discussions with HR team to refine understanding of business processes and their corresponding data and analytical needs
• Leverage knowledge of HR analytics requirements; build analytics and effective visualization solutions and present the data in a meaningful fashion, which may include analysis of identified trends and patterns in the data
• Understand data lineage and independently investigate data integrity problems; work with HR team and IT to resolve the issues
What it Takes
To be eligible for this career-launching opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics or analytics related field, advanced degree preferred
• 5 – 8 years of related work experience
• Understand advanced database designs and structures used in data warehousing
• Microsoft Excel, XML, SQL programming, SAS statistical analysis and Google Analytics experience
• Knowledge of Human Resources functions
