In this role, you will…
• Direct all aspects of the ServiceLink brand in addition to product branding, internal and external communications, marketing and sales collateral, print, digital media and presence, as well as overall marketplace strategy and positioning.
• Serve as a senior adviser to ServiceLink’s Executive team, including Divisional Presidents.
• Oversee the daily activities and manage the professional development of ServiceLink’ s marketing team, including agency partners
• Develop and implement ServiceLink’s overall marketing communications strategy, market positioning and messaging that differentiates ServiceLink from its competition and sets us apart in the industry.
• Develop short and long term marketing, advertising, and public relations strategies that promote our services and products across the organization.
• Serve as ServiceLink’ s brand ambassador, both internally and externally, and lead efforts to further establish and reinforce our brand identity.
• Manage marketing activities, including: advertising (print and digital), sales promotion, tradeshows/events, public relations, thought leadership, website and social media.
• Implement lead acquisition strategy to build and expand prospect database; develop and execute multi-channel integrated lead generation campaigns.
• Develop and manage the overall marketing budget.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Serve as the executive leader of ServiceLink’s Marketing function and Marketing team
• Build and supervise a team of highly functioning and efficient marketing professionals that span creative, communications, public relations and social media, digital marketing and sales support, and events.
• Work collaboratively with executive and divisional leadership to understand, develop, and support company goals, culture and strategies;
• Develop strategic marketing plans and actions backed by research and explore new methods of marketing and promotion
• Oversee creation and development of all promotional sales/collateral materials, advertisements, and multi-media presentations while adhering to an appropriate level of professionalism, timeliness, correctness in translation, and cost-effectiveness of such materials and representation of the company.
• Implement and manage client, sales, employee, and marketplace feedback loops in addition to market-research initiatives in order to stay abreast of current trends
• Responsible for reviewing marketing projects to ensure appropriate company and divisional message is presented
• Responsible for the development of department budgeting in accordance to the company guidelines
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of company marketing efforts against goals/budgets/benchmarks
• Proactive media relations to support company and product/divisional objectives; Coordinate media interest in the Company and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests
• Oversee corporate communications (internal and external)
• Ensure articulation and communication of Company’s desired image, positioning, logos, templates, etc., throughout the organization (internally)
• Manage company’s digital marketing and digital footprint (to include websites, digital collateral, graphical/user interfaces for client-facing technologies, social media)
• Support company-wide product development as appropriate
Qualifications
You possess…
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in marketing, advertising, or public relations; with at least 7 years in a management position
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field; Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Communications preferred
• Proven experience building a national brand; with experience leading marketing organizations across diverse-product sets and large-scale enterprises, preferably having worked in a matrixed organization.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and diverse environment, re-prioritizing workloads as necessary, with a strong sense of ethic, urgency and purpose.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with C-level executives to develop and implement organizational strategies
• Expert knowledge of marketing concepts, practices, and procedures of communications (including functional knowledge of collateral, print and digital advertising, digital media/videos, trade shows / conferences / events, crisis communications, leadership and employee communications, social media)
• Exceptional organization and communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers and public.
• Strong financial acumen; candidates must be able to speak to, and manage, the financial aspects of the Company’s marketing function to include budgeting, prioritizing spends, developing cost/benefit studies on proposed campaigns and/or initiatives, and ability to help advise company leadership on the most cost effect strategies to implement
• A can-do attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done
• The executive presence and charisma to inspire and motivate internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to understand changing market-dynamics and translating into clear marketing strategies
• Strong outcome/results orientation
• Experience with M&A
• Ability to travel, on a limited basis, as needed to fulfill position responsibilities (up to 20%)
