Job Summary

Job Responsibilities:
• Build mathematical optimization models using linear programming, mixed integer programming, nonlinear programming, and hybrid techniques.
• Manage medium to large scale projects focused on the development and implementation of optimization solutions while continuing to be hands-on. This typically entails building decision models sometimes unique to the customer, mathematical formulation for optimization and software configuration.
• Further develop analytic processes and procedures, working across departments to enhance FICO analytic & optimization tools, techniques and offerings.
• Effectively communicate the benefits of applying mathematical optimization to real business problems.
• Contribute to pricing, hours, budgeting, and contract review and delivery methodology for Xpress Optimization Suite Professional Services offerings.
Qualifications:
• Masters in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Management Science, Statistics, or related field
• Significant, demonstrable experience in a technical role in a commercial environment (3+ years)
• Hands on experience with Mathematical Optimization Software such as FICO Xpress, Gurobi, and/or IBM CPLEX.
• Experience with model development platforms such as Xpress-Mosel, AIMMS, AMPL, OPL, MPL, GAMS, Concert, etc.
• Hands on experience with programming languages including C, C++, Java, C#, Python, VBA, etc.
• Experience writing database SQL queries
• Some experience with HTML and JavaScript would be an advantage
• Experience in defining and designing solution architecture and technical infrastructure for implementation. Oversight of implementation projects a strong advantage.
