KPMG is currently seeking an Executive Director, Cloud Solutions & Adoption to join our Digital Business Transformation organization.
Responsibilities:
• Strategically and proactively define a cohesive framework for cloud strategy vision, guiding principles and using cloud services within the KPMG ecosystem
• Partner with the Architecture & Engineering teams for the creation and evolution of enterprise level cloud reference architecture patterns and templates for accessing and using cloud services
• Develop strategy to define and measure cloud services levels and operations capabilities between a cloud service provider, KPMG consumers and external clients; Serve as a focal point for the Global Strategy Program for the development and implementation of a federated multi-cloud architecture and virtual support structure that leverages common capabilities and IP across a network of member firms and global IT
• Executive level escalation point ensuring business expectations, goals and objects are met for all clients
• Accountable for cloud governance capabilities and procedures, as part of a broader IT governance process, to ensure cloud services are cost-effective, acceptable usage, provide value, safe and reliable, and complaint with policies, regulatory and legal requirements
• Coordinate with the Security, Risk and Legal groups on preapproving and updating cloud architectures, patterns, and templates that will continually comply with KPMG's policies, regulatory requirements, contractual requirements and security posture; Coordinate with consumers, service management, architecture and operations on cloud service catalogue items, tagging taxonomy, self-service access and automatically provisioning of cloud services
Qualifications:
• Minimum of fifteen years of IT experience, with a minimum of five years in enterprise architecture and cloud solutions with a focus on public cloud (Azure AWS, and Google) components, common services and dev ops at an enterprise level
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Master's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred
• Proven track record of successfully transitioning or creating new workloads in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud offerings within a large, complex and distributed IT organization including the full scope of IT skills and analytical business competencies
• Experience in understanding/resolving business issues around risk and vulnerabilities associated with cloud security and allowing confidential data in the cloud
• Exceptional verbal/written communication, collaboration, negotiation, facilitation and influencing skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and team work; Ability to direct, motivate and empower others to work towards the organization's goals, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across multiple functions
• Demonstrated experience leading and ensuring execution of strategic initiatives for an organization; Ability to address emerging opportunities and how organization should be organized/staffed to realize them; Strategic and proactive responsibility to define a cohesive framework for cloud strategy vision, guiding principles and using cloud services within the KPMG ecosystem
