Responsible for working in conjunction with our Meetings and Events, Travel and Marketing teams to tactfully execute internal and external projects. Serves as driven team member, is process-oriented and able to manage multiple competing priorities. Responsible for end-to-end planning of exceptional events for our team members and leading our community program platforms. Ensures the performance of all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
Responsibilities:
• Designs events focusing on the attendee experience and event objectives to drive business impact and maximize return. Events may include: monthly new hire orientation, national sales meetings, incentive trips, leadership meetings, etc.
• Builds event strategy to ensure success, working closely with senior management to achieve desired results.
• Project management responsibilities including budget management, accounting/reconciliation, venue selection, vendor sourcing and management, project plan management, attendee communication, on-site event management, event measurement, prioritization and resolving issues. Works with multiple vendors and contracts, including caterers, venues, photographers, rentals, hotels, and transportation services.
• Facilitates production of corporate events including decor and visual conceptualization, timeline creation, vendor procurement and management, venue scouting, invitation and menu creation, signage, pre- and post-communication collateral and sourcing of materials.
• Proactively ensures all events are branded appropriately and executed with precision.
• Manages event budget as well as corporate charitable giving budget.
• Manages community programs platform – Together We give. Includes creating strategy of program, implementation, and administration of community partnerships, employee grants, sponsorships and employee matches.
• Serves as an Ambassador of loanDepot within community organizations, both locally and nationwide.
• Responsible for recommending final hiring and termination decisions, overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of employees. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning and directing work; managing performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements:
• Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position.
• Must be able to work independently on the creation and management of projects.
• Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Intermediate math skills; calculate interest and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to make decisions that have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and cross functional departments.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules on a short-term and long-term basis.
• Ability to provide consultation and expert advice to management.
• Ability to make informal and formal presentations, inside and outside the organization; speaking before assigned team or other groups as needed.
• Ability to deal with complex difficult problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.
• Ability to work with little to no supervision while performing duties.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred and typically requires a minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in a similar field.
• Experience in the Mortgage industry preferred.
• Approximately two (2) years of management experience preferred.
