Qualifications
The Business Banking Regional Director role will be responsible for leading teams in CT/RI/Southern MA and be based in Bridgeport, CT. In this role, you will lead the successful execution of a multitude of Business Banking initiatives leading a team of 5 Market Managers, who in turn manage team of 10-12 Business Banking RM1s partnering on organizations with revenues of $500K - $2MM.
In this role, the Director contributes to the creation of the overall strategic plan and effectively directs a team of outside sales professionals who generate new business as well as manage a portfolio of customers in the Small Business marketplace. Consistently ensure sales success through developing, managing, and coaching a team of Business Banking Market Managers and Business Banking RMs. Build and maintain new business relationships within the marketplace. Maintain visibility in the market by taking an active role in community and civic organizations and developing strategic community relationships and internal partnerships. Develop strong internal partnerships within Citizens Financial Group and leverage for sales success.
• 10 years direct banking or financial services sales experience, with at least 5 years focused on Business to Business sales
• 5 years progressive bank management experience, with specific emphasis in sales, administration and operations
• Demonstrate deep and broad business acumen with financial services.
• Strong influencing capability based on knowledge, experience, and fact-skillfully influences peers and colleagues with advanced business and communication skills; is able to promote and sell ideas while building broad based relationships across the division and organization.
• Demonstrates the ability to collaborate with business partners to focus and drill down on strategic initiatives and then leverage years of experience to earn respect of the team to deliver on these initiatives.
• Ability to lead people to perform, inspire commitment to the team and the organization by influence; drive execution by quickly removing roadblocks, translate strategy into specific goals, tactics, action plans and deliverables.
