Job Description
The Exclusive Agent, Financial Specialist and License Sales Professional Recruiting National Deployment team develops, directs, plans, and evaluates the external recruitment and/or internal transfer programs to satisfy the organization's staffing requirements. The Exclusive Agent, Financial Specialist and License Sales Professional National Deployment team has a direct working relationship across all business areas and provides consulting services related to sourcing, researching, marketing, recruiting, screening candidates, interview management and recommendations to meet business area hiring goals. The National Deployment team interprets internal or external business needs and recommends best practices. The National Deployment team partners with HR Business Partners and business areas to develop and implement hiring goals and strategies. The team also partners with key external associates to advance the Allstate brand and build Allstate’s reputation in the community, affirming Allstate as a company of choice for talent and markets.
The Diversity Engagement & Recruiting Lead Consultant will be well supported internally, partnering with Research, Employment branding, Recruiting Leads, Managers, HR Business Partners and Inclusive Diversity to develop, execute and operationalize tailored data driven strategies to find and grow diverse talent. The Lead Consultant will influence to drive engagement and accountability across partners; provide relevant data, analysis and recommendations to guide decision-making related to strategic diversity recruitment efforts. The Lead Consultant administers, organizes and executes ongoing programs, manages established external relationships, and regularly interfaces with internal front line and Human Resource leaders with some officer interaction. The role may also have direct reports and handles day to day operations related to those relationships.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Identifies and cultivates external relationships with diversity focused organizations, in partnership with National Deployment and the Inclusive Diversity team
Develops and drives the execution of diversity recruiting strategy to assist recruiters in building a diverse candidate pipeline
Advises business leaders and senior management on all diversity sourcing, pipeline, and staffing strategies
Collaborates closely with other recruiting teams in delivering specific diversity recruiting campaigns
Partners with National Deployment, Talent Acquisition, Inclusive Diversity and Client Partnership to ensure that effective diversity talent acquisition practices are in place
Consults with hiring managers and others involved in the recruitment process
Supports the development and execution of diversity recruiting projects
Manages diversity recruiting events, organizations, job fairs and relationships
Identifies key performance indicators to measure the success and ROI on external partnerships, and delivers results and recommendations to key stakeholders
Leverage deep diversity knowledge gained through external benchmarking and survey work to:
Function as an internal inclusive diversity consultant to assess, measure, and enhance the diversity performance of the organization.
Recommend process and strategy work to implement programs that improve our external ranking positions.
Work as a business expert, identifying opportunities to partner with leaders to support the organization's business goals and objectives.
Job Qualifications
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Ability to travel 15% of the time.
• 5+ years of experience in diversity recruitment, talent management, project management/process mapping, and relationship management
• Analytic and problem-solving skills to plan data-driven strategy, tactics, execution and program analysis.
• Strong relationship-building skills to influence others to action while working cross functionally with all levels of the business
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of business software
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel software
• Advanced knowledge of SAP preferred
• High level of cross-cultural competence
• Consultation, communication, collaboration and change management skills required to build and expand diverse talent pipelines with internal and external business partners, including executive leaders.
