This internship is part of the First Tennessee Bank's FTB ADVISORY SERVICES group.
Position is located in Memphis, TN.
This Internship will provide:
• Knowledge of the company’s First Power culture, vision and mission statements
• A broader perspective on how First Horizon services the community and region as a whole.
• The opportunity to participate in and/or lead the completion of assigned, short-term projects requested by managers
• The opportunity to acquire specific skills that are needed to achieve professional goals and aspirations.
• Hands-on work experience in the field
Our Internship program is a 9 week PAID program that starts on Monday, June 3, 2019 and runs through Friday, August 2, 2019.
Intern Objective:
To provide a mutually beneficial internship that supports our departmental goals and objectives while delivering insight and real world experience to the candidate.
Value for the Intern:
The Intern will gain knowledge of our firm, people, products, and process for delivering professional investment management services. They will also develop professional relationships within our organization.
Delivery:
The Intern will be tasked with completing projects and presenting ideas to leadership. Assigned projects can be accomplished in the 9 week period.
Success will be measured by the following demonstrated capabilities:
1) positive attitude throughout the Internship
2) a proactive work ethic
3) completion of assigned projects
Job Description:
The Intern will perform investment and marketing research projects and must have strong skills with Microsoft Excel. They will also assist in the preparation of sales and marketing materials including brochures and presentations. Additionally they will analyze the client base to support targeted sales efforts to endowments, foundations, and retirement plans.
Applicants must have a broad understanding of the Wealth Management Industry.
HOURS:
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Average 40 hours per week

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel & Access
