Responsibilities
With your keen eye on recruiting talent, you will be expected to collaborate with managing partners, hiring managers, and the HR team and to identify and recruit high caliber talent. This position is responsible for recruiting in multiple segments (audit, tax, consulting, technologies) for multiple office locations.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting process for assigned requisitions and overall firm hiring needs including the facilitation of recruitment and selection strategies, practices, and processes to ensure talent pools, candidate generation, and hiring decisions achieve workforce needs and staffing expectations.
• Work collaboratively with the hiring managers and the HR team to understand business objectives and candidate requirements for open positions.
• Proactively identify, qualify and recruit passive candidates, using innovative sourcing strategies, cold calling, social media and networking tools.
• Screen resumes, conduct interviews and refer qualified candidates to open requisitions and potential opportunity hires.
• Ensure a positive hiring manager and candidate experience throughout the hiring process serving as the primary point of contact through the hire date.
• Coordinate interview process with applicable office personnel.
• Deliver a solid professional presence on social media sites, at networking and/or recruiting events, and across the firm by representing and promoting BKD’s values and principles.
• Prepare, manage and utilize ATS resources (iCIMS) for recruiting data and metrics, to track and report on recruiting data, drive key decisions, and ensure compliance with OFCCP and other relevant regulations.
Qualifications
• Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and openness to engage with people.
• High degree of initiative with the ability to think proactively and problem-solve.
• Excellent project management, decision-making, organizational, and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, web-based applications and email.
• Ability to confidently and comfortably make cold contacts for proactive sourcing.
• Ability to engage in and build relationships with firm personnel in a variety of office locations, talent communities, passive and active candidates, in-person and phone networking.
• Knowledge of laws and practices applicable to recruiting and hiring including learning firm policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Three years recruiting experience including two years corporate recruiting experience preferred
• CPA firm, professional services, engineering services, health-care software, health-care services, or recruiting experience working with experienced professionals preferred
