Responsibilities
Key aspects of this role:
The National Interstate Internship Program will begin May 2019 and end in August 2019.
The Risk Management Intern will:
• Pull, build, and/or create data in order to establish reports to help identify leading indicators and KPIs that will help us better identify trends within our customers, programs and entire book of business.
• Create these reports and also assist in the analysis of the data and run regression analysis tests against multiple data sets to better identify trends.
• Review subsidized programs and calculate ROI for the company and customer.
• Perform additional responsibilities based on personal skillset.
Qualifications
Skills and background we are looking for:
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, pursuing a degree in Safety, Insurance or Risk Management, Business or Economics
• Anticipated graduation date ranging from Fall/Winter 2019 to Spring 2020
• Prior experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Ability to write reports and defend conclusions
• Excellent communication skills
