Position Description
SEI Archway is seeking an Investment Accounting Consultant to join the Implementation Consulting team. The Implementation Consulting team is responsible for planning and executing onboarding projects for SEI Archway’s wealth management technology solutions. The ideal candidate must have a background in finance, accounting or comparable field of study as well as an interest in technology and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Gain a detailed understanding of the client’s accounting and investment operations
• Consult with clients to setup the proprietary ATWeb software to their needs over the course of a multi-month implementation project
• Comprehend client inquiries related to specific attributes of product functionality and general accounting principles and then effectively identify and communicate solutions within ATWeb in a timely manner
• Maintain communication channels with clients while converting their data into ATWeb which includes client site visits and communications through conference calls and e-mails
• Provide training and support to clients as they begin to actively use ATWeb for their accounting and reporting operations
• Work closely with other groups within the Archway family such as Client Relations, Design and Development to communicate client needs and requirements
• Perform periodic system testing and analysis which includes inputting and monitoring tickets for bug fixes and system enhancements
Position Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting and/or general business strongly preferred
• For recent graduates: minimum GPA of 3.0 on 4.0 scale required
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service required
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients, vendors, team members and management
• Ability to comprehend and document business processes and workflows
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications
• Fundamental understanding of accounting principles and investment terminology
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
• Emphasis on organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Rigorous attention to detail
• Highly self-motivated and able to work under pressure
