Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
This is a project delivery role where you’ll have the opportunity to apply your business acumen and critical thinking to define solutions to deliver the expected business value. The Project Director drives planning and execution of the projects/program activities in accordance to business priorities and Strategy. This role operates within minimal supervision with flexibility to merge different methodologies to accomplish strategic goals. Manages team development, actively mentors members of the PM community.
Responsible for:
• End to End planning and delivery of medium to large programs
• Tracking and reporting of MYP initiatives in accordance to plan and business value.
• Defining appropriate governance, methods and practices around executing operations efficiency projects, improving the overall project maturity across the organization
• May have direct management responsibility of PMs
The Project Director controls planning and execution of the Projects' or Program's activities and resources to ensure that established cost, time, and quality goals are met. The Project Director works with minimal supervision and is responsible for applying advanced Project Management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to Project deliverables, processes, and systems in order to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations. The Project Director operates within defined parameters using a proven Project Management Methodology with flexibility to merge different methodologies in accomplishing collective goals.

Job Summary
This position is the primary point of accountability to Business Partners and other parties for the management and implementation of the medium to large size Projects or small to medium sized Programs that support achievement of moderate to complex unit or corporate goals.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required. 5 years of project management experience required.
Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. 7 years of project management experience preferred. 2 years of experience managing others and/or project teams preferred.
Job Specific & Technical Skills & Competencies
• Aligns, enables and supports the business in achievement of their strategies and objectives through planning and execution of the projects/program
• Creates strong partnerships and works effectively with varying engagement models across the organization
• Leads matrix teams with accountability for project / program delivery and implementation including management of decision processes, monitoring and reporting
• Applies best practices and appropriate frameworks for projects/ programs and implementations
• Assist in the development of the project CBA providing input and driving balance of solution cost and benefit realization against capability goals and objectives
• Creates healthy team dynamics through effective team interactions to support positive outcomes
Works with and includes people from different backgrounds, experiences, cultures, races, etc. and views those differences as assets to be leveraged to accomplish business goals and objectivesManages team development, very active in the mentoring of members of the PM community, may have direct management responsibility of PMs. Develops both IT and Non-IT Project budgets. Manages against them.
