As a member of Santander’s retail banking division you’ll help serve Santander’s retail and small business customers as part of one of the top banks in the United States based on deposits. The Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist III is responsible for the day to day servicing statement functions. The Specialist ensures that processes are in accordance with regulatory guidelines and supports internal and external customers by resolving statement issues and responding to requests
Responsibilities
• To Assist with training of new hires, communicate with branches, contact centers and other business partners as needed.
• Be able to assist with the Escalated email site to redirect escalated issues to correct team for resolution.
• Process and resolve functions related to Collateral, Flood and Satisfactions Teams, including the Customer Database (CARE).
• Process customer incoming mail for the respective servicing teams.
• This includes redirecting incorrect mail, process return mail.
• Complete all work within required service level agreements and maintain the established productivity levels for assigned tasks.
Qualifications
• At least 2 years of Banking experience.
• At least 2 years of professional experience.
• Ability to handle multiple issues as well as handling the more difficult customer issues.
• Ability to pay attention to detail and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvements as opportunities arise.
• Commitment to providing superior Customer Service to our customers and business partners.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Duties are performed in an office environment.
• Physical demands could involve any or all of the following: digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in the operation of office equipment; light to moderate lifting (10-20 lbs.) and carrying of supplies,files, etc.
• The ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees both telephone calling and in person; and body motor skills sufficient to enable the incumbent to move from one office location to another.
