Job Responsibilities:
• Executes on the goals and strategies for the Agile CoE across AEA, including high impact and visible activities for products and projects that are executed through the Agile methodologies.
• Actively shares insights and opportunities for improvement of the Agile CoE.
• Develops a high-functioning team by coaching, developing, hiring, onboarding and managing the performance of Agile Coaches, ScrumMasters and other members of the Agile CoE.
• Leads coaching, development and training sessions with direct reports.
• Key stakeholder responsible for providing input on Agile team roadmaps and strategy.
• Participates in building an organization and enterprise-wide competency in Agile practices and coaches Agile teams in the appropriate Agile methodology with focus on delivery of maximum value in shortest sustainable time.
• Coaches product and/or project leadership on approach including people, processes and structure.
• Coaches Product Owners on creating and enforcing strategic direction for product/project including definition of guiding principles and success metrics.
• Coaches ScrumMasters on role as impediment removal facilitator, team insulator, process owner and servant leader.
• Works effectively with Business Owners and Sponsors, Project Managers, Transformation Leads and cross functional partners.
• Provides updates regarding feedback, progress and results for Agile practice adoptions.
• Identifies issues and risks, along with recommending options for continuous improvement of Agile usage.
• Maintains processes, standards and templates to assist Agile team members and organization.
• Evaluates, artifacts and deliverables to ensure adherence to enterprise and organizational standards and quality.
• Drives innovation by acquiring or developing and applying new techniques and tools.

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent related work experience.
• 10+ years of experience in product delivery, leading large projects, process improvement and/or systems development and integration efforts.
• 5+ years of recent work experience using Agile practices and principles.
• 3+ years of experience in developing and leading a high caliber team of individuals able to execute on set goals and strategy, preferably in an Agile environment.
• People leadership skills including coaching, development and performance management.
• Results oriented with track record of delivering results and taking initiative, while working with minimal direction.
• Excellence in relationship management, including clear, concise, dynamic, effective, logical and tactful verbal and written communication across all levels and stakeholder groups with capability to quickly earn the trust of key sponsors and stakeholders.
• Experience in brokering consensus in contentious or sensitive situations and in effective navigation of a highly-matrixed organization.
• Ability to proactively mitigate risk, resolve issues and escalate when appropriate.
• Skilled at quickly learning complex business and/or technological concepts, including product, project and/or resource dependencies.
• Capable of synthesizing and translating internal and external customer inputs, performance metrics and strategic directives into action plans.
• Ability to lead assessment efforts across an organization.
• Excellent group facilitation and presentation skills.
• Competent with Agile Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools (Agile central, JIRA, Team Foundation Server, VersionOne, etc.) and Microsoft office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
