ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage all aspects of the day activities/efforts of Service Providers
• Work with supervisor to assist with the training and ongoing development of less experienced staff
• Ability to oversee department/direct activities during supervisor absence
• Perform risk assessment/due diligence for new and existing Service Providers
• Host calls between internal stakeholders and Service Providers as needed
• Prepare and conduct on site periodic reviews with high risk Service Providers
• Review and signoff on Service Provider scorecards for publication
• Approve and submit Law Firm approval requests to agencies
• Coordinate and assist with special projects and assignments
• Coordinate and perform Service Providers reviews to comply with LoanCare’s vendor performance management program
• Implement and maintain the supplier corrective action process
• Implement and maintain the supplier score carding process
• Track and report Service Provider performance
• Review third party Service Provider processes, procedures and work product for completeness and accuracy
• Maintain a centralized Service Provider database using SharePoint
• Perform business unit compliance testing to ensure internal policies and procedures, client, investor, state requirements; and other applicable guidelines are adhered to
• Participate in business unit meetings amongst operational departments to communicate findings and ensure consistent standards are communicated appropriately
• Maintain professional and productive relationships with Service Providers
• Escalate critical issues to management, as required
• Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous audit, compliance, or quality control experience
• 5+ years of previous vendor management experience
• Mortgage Service experience a plus
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Excellent oracle and written communication skills
• Be self-motivated and detail oriented
• Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required
• SharePoint experience, a plus
• Ability to recognize problems outside the normal mandated company, client and state regulations, guidelines and requirements
• Ability to multi task
WORK CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Must have the ability to attend work and be productive during normal business hours and to work early, late or weekend hours as needed for successful job performance. Overtime required as necessary. Some travel may be required.
