Position Summary:
The Treasury Strategic Director is a newly-developed role that will help to consolidate, streamline and drive the go-forward strategy for the Treasury department. This is a highly strategic and facilitative role that requires a combination of focus and flexibility, as well as a willingness to play an active, behind-the-scenes role across all products. The role requires resourcefulness, creativity and the ability to pro-actively bring ideas to the table and execute upon them.
Essential Functions/Specific Duties:
• Work with the Treasurer to set near-term strategy and operating plan over the next 12 months.
• Assist Assistant Treasurers with execution of strategies to enhance the operations of their business.
• Ensure all functions / roles are adequately staffed and backed up; implement contingencies as needed.
• Develop analytics and reporting function for Treasury overall.
• Assist in contract negotiations for credit facilities as required.
• Drive Treasury initiatives including working with bank partners, transaction-specific support, ALCO, etc.
• Manage internal communications. Interface with corporate communications staff to produce and distribute materials as needed.
• Continuously seek opportunities to add value across the Treasury organization.
• Any other job responsibilities requested by management.
Qualifications/Job Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field. Prefer MBA.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years work experience in the mortgage industry
• Skills:

◦ Organizational and political agility
◦ Ability to influence/network within and outside the organization to leverage resources and information
◦ Must be a self-starter (able to work without high level direction and guidance)

◦ Unquestionable personal code of ethics, integrity, diversity and trust
◦ Strong strategic/financial analysis skills
