Environment
The main mission of the Relationship bankers is to manage the day-to-day relations with CORI’s strategic and target clients. They have a particular emphasis on cross-selling with both SG CIB business lines and non-SG CIB entities, to better serve CORI
Corporate Clients. The main roles of Relationship Bankers are to:
• Develop relations with CORI clients, focusing on Corporate Banking and market-related products
• Meet clients needs, help them managing their operating cycles
• Maximize profitability and proactively optimize scarce leverage on scarce resources such as risk-weighted assets and balance-sheet
• Gain business through cross-selling and synergies, with SG CIB and non SG CIB business lines
• Supervise risk and credit processes
• Collect deposits
Mission
This assignment entails working within the CIU team, and alongside the Relations Bankers (see above). Primary job duties and responsibilities include (but are not explicitly limited too):
Provide the first point of contact for the relationship bankers with regard to all operational matters associated with the assigned client portfolio. This includes:
• Profitability studies, per client and transaction
• Tracking and monitoring the deal pipeline and profitability (via the C-profit tool). This also includes profitability reconciliation for the regular clean up exercises (including implementing an efficient process to keep C-Profit up to date and accurate whilst minimizing the impact on CORI-COV bankers and business lines including the AFG Junior pool)
• Preparation of plain non-structured pitch books, and this will also include maintaining up to date credentials for the associated bankers, and ensuring consistency across presentations / pitchbooks
• Seek and implement optimal process to own and maintain an up to date bank of marketing material (banker contact pages, SG tombstones, league tables, capabilities etc.) to provide on-demand marketing material pitchbooks and contact pages to bankers
• Preparation of Pre-screen memos for new transactions and client relationships,
• Actively participate in and be the key point of contact for the relationship Bankers, for live transactions, and work with CORI/CCG, CORI/Data Integrity and any other related functions to ensure transactions are closed on time
• Collating post-closing internal deal documentation such as transaction checklists, VISA grid, IFRS9 forms etc.
• Coordinating with Legal to process NDAs and confidentiality agreements from clients
• Support for client growth initiatives, and work with the CIU for the preparation of any department profitability presentations
• And the completion of ad-hoc studies.
Build customer expertise, which will allow:
• Quick response to specific client profitability requests
• To enrich the quantity and quality of usable data, and making it available to CORI AMER for the continued development of the department.
Assist with the monitoring of the implementation of the department strategy.
Coordination with the CIU for the CORI forecasts.
Backup other marketing support members of the CIU.
Responsible for other ad-hoc related tasks.
