Description
Supports the clients and sales staff by performing the most complex daily clerical functions to maintain the office and document processing.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Processes and administers commercial loans. Records new loans, establishes relevant files, and maintains loan records. Uploads HBF Takedown Spreadsheet and notifies Portfolio Manager and Loan Closing Officer of new request; saves loan documents to HBF Drive. Upload documents to the ARX system after loans are booked. Processes loan renewals for matured loans.
• Orders appraisals in CMS, establishes loan file to save information to Home Builder Finance Drive. Upon completion of appraisal provide the appraisal to the Relationship Manager and save the appraisal to the Home Builder Finance Drive.
• Assist the Relationship Manager with processing ONS exceptions and obtaining financial information from customers. Pull RIPN report daily regarding NSF's. Assist Relationship Manger in all matters related to the ongoing servicing of our customers.
• Answers client inquiries on bank products, services, accounts and policies; opens new accounts; researches and corrects account discrepancies. Uploads inspector and attorney invoices for payment.
Requirements
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) and a minimum of 2-4 years experience, 4-6 years preferred as a commercial loan administrative assistant with experience in most aspects of underwriting/processing/closing commercial loans for a similar type of financial institution or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Accurate typing, spelling and grammar skills. Proficient with applicable computer software. Good written and oral communication skills. Good organizational and customer service skills. General banking/operations experience. Excellent consultative sales and cross-selling skill.
• Ability to read and listen, understand and communicate information and ideas in a clear and understandable manner, both orally and in writing with business unit management, customers, staff, state and federal regulators and officials and significant business partners
• Be able to deal with non-routine matters, such as special projects, with minimum specific instruction; ability to work independently in carrying out assignments to completion
• Ability to define problems. collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists, and to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form
• All duties are performed in an office cubicle, no travel is required.
