We’re looking for a Senior to join our TAS Practice in our Charlotte, NC office. This is a great opportunity for an Audit Senior to transition into Transaction Advisory Services and work with exciting deals, mergers & acquisitions!
Elliott Davis, LLC’s transaction advisory services (“TAS”) practice assists clients by providing financial, tax and information technology due diligence, primarily focusing on buy-side and sell-side assistance, to private equity funds, mezzanine funds and strategic buyers. We are rapidly growing and would love to have you join our team!
Responsibilities include:
• Lead buy-side and sell-side transaction services engagements, providing financial due diligence assistance to private equity, mezzanine funds and strategic buyers
• Perform quality of earnings, debt and debt-like, working capital and quality of net assets analysis
• Understand and evaluate financial and operational trends of target companies
• Communicate due diligence findings verbally to clients and in a formal written report
• Create and design tailored transaction advisory reports specific to key issues such as normalized earnings, financial reporting, net working capital trends and indebtedness considerations
• Ability to lead an engagement and provide real time feedback and guidance to clients to ensure timely and efficient product delivery
• Leading due diligence meetings with target management
• Supervise staff and provide performance feedback
• Lead and participate in people development and business development efforts
Qualifications:
• A minimum of three years of experience with audit, assurance or transaction services experience.
• Big 4, National or large regional firm experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Aptitude towards business development
• Experience in project management including planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing staff, clients, and/or shareholders towards the successful completion of a project
• Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting issues
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously (multi-task)
• Superior client service focus
• Ability to travel to client locations as required
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
• Current licensed CPA
