Role Value Proposition:
This job requires the candidate to effectively contribute to a diverse team of IT professionals to plan, direct, and coordinate the maintenance, design, installation, and connectivity of large mission critical infrastructure projects across multiple disciplines to ensure the stable operation of the organization's Global IT application portfolio and specifically manage the change process and procedures, including conflict management to ensure a risk tolerant implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and track global infrastructure changes.
• Coordinate and prioritize the impact assessments of global changes.
• Conduct collision management and facilitate conflict resolution.
• Attend weekly global change management meeting and provide input on infrastructure changes
• Engage with engineering and project management teams to deliver excellent service to our global customers.
• Leverage extensive technical knowledge within multiple areas (technical, business, applications, etc.) in support of global infrastructure management activities
• Manages the documentation of internal processes and procedures
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Proven experience in designing, maintaining and managing global enterprise systems
• Proven experience managing changes for multi-tenant environments across a global footprint
• Proven experience collaborating with teams on ticket changes and requests
• Two years global IT exposure
• Two years of experience directly managing changes related to:
◦ Wintel-LINTEL re-platforming initiatives
◦ Mid-range systems upgrade and re-platforming projects
◦ Implementing high availability solutions
◦ Multi-site or global infrastructure re-platforming projects
Preferred:
• Experience with operating platforms, storage, and change management systems
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of working experience
