Duff & Phelps’ Duff & Phelps’ Identity Theft and Breach Notification (ITBN) practice helps clients resolve the myriad complex issues resulting from a data breach and offers a comprehensive identity theft protection service through strategic partnerships. The service is backed by Kroll’s Licensed Investigators, who counsel members and work to remedy problems caused by identity theft.
Kroll is looking for an individual to help execute product strategy and manage day-to-day development decisions for our growing B2B Cyber Security suite of services. We are looking for a Product Manager who possesses an eye for detail and a passion for solving the biggest problems our customers face, working from concept to launch to align our solutions with their needs. This role demands a forward-thinking, tech-savvy professional with an obsession for creating an excellent client experience. RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Be a constant advocate for consumers concerned about Cyber Security and data exposure, acting as their voice to internal stakeholders and striving to create solutions that inspire users while meeting business objectives
• Provide input on product strategy and translate into an actionable, detailed product roadmap that accounts for new solutions, features and positioning opportunities
• Garner product support and prioritization through business cases that incorporate analysis of market research and relevant internal data points to project product demand, positioning, viability, and profitability
• Drive roadmap execution, prioritizing objectives, defining minimally viable product, and providing tactical oversight to ensure on-time and in-scope delivery of each product and feature launch
• Specify market requirements and user stories for current and future consumer products based on addressing unmet customer and prospective customer needs
• Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish and drive the technical vision and determine project timelines, deliverables and resource needs
• Work with Development, Operations, and other internal stakeholders to ensure ongoing support for existing and new products and features
• Effectively manage and escalate trade-offs between cost/schedule versus customer benefit
• Conduct ongoing market research supported by interviews with customers and prospective customers, monitoring industry trends and regulatory changes
• Analyze competitor solutions to help inform product strategy, differentiation, and positioning
• Lead focus group research designed to identify unmet customer needs and test existing concepts with the goal of identifying opportunities for new product innovation and building existing product value
• Create buyer and user personas from market research to participate on product initiatives and maintain consumer focused product vision
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for products, which may require development of consumer value propositions and ongoing support and training of internal partners
• Develop product positioning and work with marketing stakeholders to help design and launch go-to-market strategy
• Communicate clearly and efficiently across the organization to gain buy in, drive decisions, and ensure stakeholders are well informed about timelines and deliverables.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree is required
• 3-5 years of Product Management experience
• Deep understanding of the Cyber Security landscape, market trends, and buyer needs
• Demonstrated record of successful Product Management with technology enabled, business-oriented services
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience writing market and business requirements
• Experience working with remote teams strongly preferred
• Results oriented and takes ownership of goals and objectives
• Highly effective collaborator with internal as well as external resources
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of graphic design and web site development capabilities
• Ability to prioritize and work independently as well as in a team environment
• Must be proficient in MS office products, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote
