Job Summary:
Reporting to the Managing Director of Real Estate Strategy and Planning, this client-facing position plays a critical role in aligning Enterprise goals, business strategy and real estate solutions. Through on-going engagement with key business leaders, the CRM is responsible for understanding key business strategies, drivers, and requirements.
Major responsibilities:
• Develop effective relationships with key business partners, and define business/enterprise strategies and requirements (40%)
• Ensure portfolio strategy and real estate assets are aligned for optimal business use (20%)
• Drive development of business cases and scenario modelling to facilitate enterprise-level decision-making (20%)
• Manage initiatives and recommendations through corporate approvals (20%) Communication of CRE value with key business leaders and partners
• Evaluation of business demand for real estate uses
• Engagement with business partners and corporate functions in real estate portfolio planning
• Identification of opportunities to add corporate value via real estate assets and solutions
• Coordination of CRE and business partners to meet corporate requirements for capital and expense approvals
• Preparation and presentation of business cases to the governance and executive committees as required.
Qualifications
• BA or BS degree in Real Estate, Finance, Architecture or related field; MBA or related graduate degree preferred
• A minimum of 10+ years with expert working knowledge and understanding of the Corporate Real Estate industry including strategy and client relationship management
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Must have business acumen with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service
• Ability to manage multiple complex assignments simultaneously
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Strong conflict and issue resolution skills
• A willingness to travel
