Overview
Sentry is expanding our Digital Marketing team! If you have a passion for Social Media, experience and proven success with Community Management – this is an exciting opportunity to help build a growing area within a Fortune 1000 business. In this role, you will collaborate with the Marketing team to monitor all social media platforms for mentions of Sentry Brands, monitor and respond to all social media inquiries, and assist with content publishing and report generation - while staying abreast to the latest trends and technologies.
What You'll Do
You will support our Social media initiatives and strategy by serving as the point person for social media audiences through day-to-day community management. You will accomplish this critical initiative by:
• Social listening and monitoring of 40+ social media channels - Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Trip Advisor, etc.
• Responding to all questions, comments, reviews and messages received through our social channels while working closely with the Marketing Team, Business Units, and Consumer Affairs.
• Collaborating with the Marketing team to identify and gather assets for posts.
• Assisting with content publishing on all social media channels.
• Identifying content opportunities through social listening efforts.
• Assisting with the development of social media reports and content tagging.
• Assisting Marketing team members with maintaining content calendars and budget tracking.
• Participating in the execution of social media marketing projects as well as other marketing initiatives.
What it Takes
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 0-2 years of previous work experience.
• Experience with Community Management and social listening.
• Experience with content publishing in social media platforms and management tools.
• Experience with Social Media Management tools such as Sprout Social, HootSuite, and Sprinklr.
• Effective presentation skills and the ability to communicate with various audiences, including executives in a persuasive manner.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• The successful candidate must be able to work independently, as well as thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented environment.
