Description
The Intermediary Channel Specialist plays a critical role as a liaison to the Annuities Channel team at Prudential. This person is charged with supporting the channel team on key initiatives and projects that will drive business results. The Channel Specialist will partner with the channel team and subject matter experts to create business cases, creative briefs and robust go to market plans, interpret and communicate campaign results. This position is critical to driving engagement in support of intermediaries and the Sales organization alike. He/she will assist with the developing sales enablement content, lead generation activities and coordinating timely and promotional campaigns to address customer needs.
In this role, you will:
• Leverage marketing best practices such as customer segmentation, marketing automation, market analytics, and product understanding to drive impact of campaigns and communications
• Collaborate with Channel Team to deeply understand selling processes, identify lead generation opportunities, and serve as the voice of the intermediary to the broader marketing organization
• Partner with large cross-functional teams to co-create marketing approaches that result in brand adoption
Qualifications
• A four-year degree is preferred with 5+ years B-to-B and/or B-B-C marketing experience highly desired
• Demonstrated success in collaborating across functional teams, negotiating in a matrixed organization, building strong relationships with business partners and designing creative solutions
• Very strong oral and written communication skills and a passion for understanding how best to influence the customer journey Prior success with taking intelligent risks and is comfortable working autonomously
• Functional knowledge of Annuity products, services, distribution and market environment desired or financial services experience
• Strong knowledge of MS Office suite (e.g. Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
