As a Property and Casualty Personal Insurance team member the Account Analyst is responsible for transactional processing of core operations functions including but not limited to:
• Quoting
• Endorsement processing
• Issuance processing
• Supporting the needs of the customer through phone, fax and e-mail correspondence
Skills:
• Basic knowledge of P&C industry and products (Business performance/business acumen & optimizing work processes)
• Demonstrate the ability to deliver “Best in Class” service (Client relationships/customer focus)
• Basic organizational and analytical skills (Individual performance/Organizational agility)
• Competent written and verbal communication skills (Client relationships/informing & presentation skills)
• Quality conscience with an emphasis on details (Business performance/Optimizing work processes)
• Basic problem solving skills (Individual performance/problem solving)
• Demonstrate the ability to conduct relationship building and competent interpersonal skills (Team performance/peer relationships)
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of MSWord and MSExcel software and a strong aptitude for PC and internet usage. (Business performance/Optimizing work processes)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment (individual performance/Dealing with ambiguity)
Performance Objectives:
• Knowledgeable on quoting process – able to review quote requests, interpret underwriting reports, enter application data into quoting systems and prepare quotations for review by underwriter or agent
• Knowledgeable on the quote to bind process– if necessary, creates quotes that are representative of coverages, premiums, etc. that are referenced on bind requests
• Knowledgeable on endorsement processing – ability to make policy changes per agent or underwriter requests in accordance with client service authority guidelines
• Knowledgeable on the quotes/requotes to existing – ability to review quote request, order applicable underwriting reports quote changes per agent or underwriter request and release to underwriter or agent based on authority
• Demonstrate the ability to achieve stated time service standards as outlined for particular role/function
• Demonstrate the ability to achieve quality objectives as outlined for particular role/function
Training Hours will be 8 - 4:30
Work Time Hours will be 10 - 6:30
