Job Purpose
The Associate Manager works with the Marketing Strategy Team in the development and distribution of advisory marketing and sales collateral by assisting in the management of resources, creative development and project timelines.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Works with Marketing Strategy Team in support of team and company objectives.
• Serves as a resource for the field for questions and feedback on product and/or marketing materials.
• Supports the creation and execution of internal and external communications regarding advisory specific marketing efforts.
• Works with Integrative Services Team and Marketing Agencies to aide in Creative development as necessary.
• Supports the development and execution of internal and external training.
• Maintains up to date knowledge of financial industry and on competitor's products to help with sales ideas, overcoming objections and product positioning.
• Conducts market research to assess trends in the industry as well as wholesaler, financial advisor and client behavior in order to ensure marketing collateral is timely and relevant.
• Oversees daily tasks assigned to each marketing project to meet company deliverables.
• Assists in the development of new marketing collateral, including research, drafting of creative briefs, and communicating vision and objectives to marketing partners.
• Support product launches by contributing to the marketing communication plan, along with the corresponding Project Plan including timelines and approval deadlines.
• Shares responsibility of JCMS queue and sponsor review of materials with Manager, Advisory Marketing.
• Assists in developing effective campaigns and choosing appropriate distribution channels.
• Maintains Advisory Web Pages on Jackson.com and DASH.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong knowledge of financial industry.
• Possess strong analytical skills.
• Proven ability to pay attention to detail.
• Must be excellent in problem solving and finding resolutions.
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
• Must have excellent writing and verbal communication skills including presentations.
• Possess excellent customer service skills with ability to develop strong relationships.
• Ability to work a demanding schedule.
• Proactive self-starter with high energy and a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques.
• Project Management skills a plus.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3+ years prior Financial Services marketing experience.
• FINRA Series 6 registration preferred.
