Responsibilities
• Conduct quality control of the daily sample of booked contracts by reviewing contract documents against system data for accuracy
• Identify errors for correction / document errors in a consistent manner for daily reporting purposes
• Respond to daily correspondence / communication from business / operations in a timely manner
• Assist manager with escalated review / resolution of errors, as necessary
• Assist team with completion of assigned daily quality control sample, as necessary
• Assist team / manager with daily, weekly and monthly production work including but not limited to, running / assigning daily quality control sample, preparing daily worklists, running daily exception reports and other assigned work Build / develop strong relationships with business / operations partners by keeping lines of communication open and having collaborative discussions
• Gain a thorough understanding of our business / operations processes by participating in process walkthroughs, side by side training, huddles / meetings, and other activities
• Improve QC team efficiency by continuous knowledge transfer with our business / operations partners
• Participate in team and business / operations' assessment / update of Quality Control criteria, as necessary
• Assist manager on assigned and related ad hoc projects
• Demonstrate key CIT values in daily performance of work and interactions with team and business / operations partners
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of audit, testing, quality control, or quality testing experience
• Loan/Lease Origination/Operations experience preferred
• Excellent verbal / written communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Work in a fast paced environment
• Adapt to changing requirements
• Work closely in a team environment
• Work with all levels of management and cross-functional teams
