CNO Financial Group seeks an experienced, self-directed individual to support its Direct Marketing and Field “Sales” Engagement operations. You’ll be responsible for working closely with sales leadership at all levels from Executive to Branch Managers. Your goal - maximize our marketing investments. The ideal candidate would have significant experience working closely with a large national sales organization and have a deep understanding of insurance and financial products to contribute to the local marketing efforts.
Approximately 20% of time will be spent traveling nationally.
Responsibilities:
• Lead, develop and implement strategies with a small team and our field sales managers to drive sales from leads
• Partner closely with the internal campaign team to implement targeted marketing within specific geographies
• Work closely with the field managers and administrators on their marketing results and tactics to improve their overall return on investments
• Work with design/creative teams to develop engagement strategies that drives improvements in sales
• Track, report and present on performance of engagement and recommend tactical adjustments with internal partners
• Provide feedback on local program design and campaign performance
• Help create marketing materials to help promote best practices
• Identify and collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to keep both in alignment on key activities
• Visit local offices and conduct on-site consultation and promotion of marketing programs
• Present new marketing strategies to further advance sales growth
• Manage a small team of associates and budget
• Lead cross functional department projects as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree business, sales or marketing required; MBA a plus
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience managing geographically diverse relationships with Sales representatives; preferably experience with commission-based sales representatives.
• Marketing experience
• Financial or Insurance experience a significant plus
• Exceptional written, presentation and verbal communication skills required
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting including advanced Excel required
• High energy, low-ego and a service-oriented attitude
• Ability to manage competing priorities and operational requirements from multiple partners
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
